On Friday, February 12, 2010, five students and two faculty members will perform at St. James Episcopal Church, in Painesville, for the Music and Drama Club. Faculty member Amber Inman will perform two movements of Mozart Sonata #4, accompanied by pianist Gloria Hobi.

Violin and viola students of Susan Knapp-Rust will also be part of the program. Six year old Emily Sanders will be performing Bach's Minuet in G.. Twelve year old Matt Gittins will perform the first two movements of Handel Sonata #3, and twelve year old Emily B. will perform the first movement of Concerto in A minor by Vivaldi. Shayna, a thirteen year old violist, will perform a movement of a Telemann Sonata, and sixteen year old Luke (cello student of faculty member Jerry Yarovich) will perform the first movement of Vivaldi's Concerto in A minor for cello.. Matt, Emily B., and Shayna will perform a trio for two violins and viola.

On Friday, February 26, 2010, at 8:00 p.m., Ryan Haskins, former Four Oaks student and faculty member, will be in the area to conduct the Baldwin Wallace Symphony Orchestra in Elgar's "Enigma Variations", Barber's "Knoxville, Summer of 1915", with soprano Laura Schupbach, and Stravinsky's "Suite No. 2 for Small Orchestra". Ryan is currently the music director of Sioux City Symphony Orchestra.

On Sunday, February 28, 2010, at 3:00, three talented cello students of Jerry Yarovich will perform works by Romberg and Vivaldi in the sanctuary of First Church Congregational, 22 Liberty Street, Painesville. The program will be free and open to the public.
